This is Melody’s favorite restorative practice. Best suited for those whose energy tends to rise and who need stillness with the heart facing up. This practice opens the back from the top and works it way down providing fabulous chest and shoulder opening with a strong focus on back extension. Includes two types of Restorative Bridge, Supported Fish, restorative twists followed by Restorative Child’s Pose. Enjoy!

Each class in our Samdhaana Yoga Gentle Beginner Series begins standing, followed by movement and poses on hands and knees or reclined on the mat. Each class in the series builds upon the previous classes in the series, but all the classes are easy to follow and accessible to most people. No prior yoga experience required.
