Location: Mount Airy is located in northwestern North Carolina, an easy drive of about an hour from Winston-Salem or Greensboro, less than 2 hours from Charlotte, and about 2 ½ hours from Raleigh or Roanoke.

Parking: Ample free parking in the area.

Shopping: Historic downtown Mount Airy, just ½ a block from the Studio, has an eclectic mix of shops including Welcome Home Gifts & Décor, The Groovy Goose, Pages Books & Coffee, Scarlet Begonias and the always yummy Miss Angel’s Heavenly Pies.

Outdoor Activities: Walk or bike our local greenways; go canoeing, kayaking or fishing on the Ararat River (accessible from Riverside Park); hike nearby on Pilot Mountain; play a round of golf at Cross Creek Country Club.
