Watching the video shown below and following along with the first page of your workshop handout, you will learn the 5 primary movements of the spine, their relevance in taking these movements to maintain the health of the spine, and how to utilize these same movements as a means to warming up and preparing the spine for stronger movement in your yoga classes.
Once you understand what the 5 primary movements of the spine are, move on to viewing the video below to understand the varying points of orientation from which to start any class, any sequence, and/or as a means to move through multiple points of orientation in a single sequence.
