RESOURCES FOR YOGA TEACHERS

 TRAINING 

• A Yoga Alliance certified teacher since 2007, I trained under the direction of Dolly Starvos, owner of Asmi Yoga Studio in Bend, Oregon 
• 2009 Earned E-RYT (1,000 hours of teaching experience); began training & certifying 200-RYT teachers
• Earned E-RYT 500 Kundalini Yoga & Ayurveda,( 9,000 hours of teaching experience)
• Additional studies in various forms of Alternative Medicine including Energy Medicine, Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda

TEACHING

• Taught at yoga studios in the Charlotte, NC area; Director of Yoga for the Harris YMCA & Harris Express (membership of more than 60,000) 
• Training and certifying teachers at the 200-RYT level since 2009
• 2019 Began sharing The Art of Sequencing Workshops online

SAMDHAANA YOGA

•  Samdhaana Yoga® was born through the guidance of the eternal spirit & the direction of self. Deeply immersed in the yoga practice, I also studied various forms of Alternative Medicine. Each of these beautiful healing modalities helped me grow in understanding the subtle body. 
• Using this knowledge & understanding, I developed principles that govern the flow of the yoga practice & trademarked them as Samdhaana Yoga® in 2011. The remarkable synergy created by the practice of these principles can be transformative, promoting and supporting the healing & strengthening of the body, mind & spirit.  
• Opened Sacred Space Yoga studio in my hometown of Mount Airy, North Carolina in 2013, where I continue to share my love of Samdhaana Yoga today.
• Sharing yoga brings me infinite joy, as I am privileged to witness in each student the greatness that lies within. From them, I continue to gain knowledge & the opportunity to perpetuate forward the ascension of my own heart. To each I am eternally grateful.
