BEGINNER CLASSES

If you're new to yoga, this is a great place to start! As you're learning, please be kind to yourself. 

Remember that yoga is a lifelong practice. It takes time to learn the poses and movements and to gain strength and balance. 


For those just curious about yoga, but not ready for a full class, start with our Beginner Beginner Series below. 

If you are ready to try a class but are not used to being very active, you may wish to start with the Gentle Beginner Series. 

If you are new to yoga, but are already physically active, you'll probably enjoy starting with our Active Beginner Series. 


Please note that in any yoga class, all poses and movements are optional and you are encouraged to listen to your body and opt out of any pose or movement that is not suitable for you. If you have any health or mobility issues, please check with your healthcare provider before beginning a yoga practice.  



This is the first of our 7-video series created especially for those who are curious about exploring yoga, but who are not ready to participate in a full class.  The videos are short, most less than 15 minutes, with plenty of explanation and demonstration, and the gentle movements and basic poses are accessible to most people.

Class Description: Class starts standing and moves to an infinity pattern to gently stretch and open the energetic lines of the body; class has a focus on lengthening the vertical line of brahma sutra and also releasing foreign and unwanted energy from this area.
