
These classes focus on the foundational aspects of each pose and overall alignment, both physically and energetically. The goal of the class is to help you find your comfortable seat in each posture. These classes are not flowing or vinyasa-based, but are sequenced with complementary standing and floor poses. Classes generally include movement, deep stretch, as well as restorative aspects.
Please note that in any yoga class, all poses and movements are optional and you are encouraged to listen to your body and opt out of any pose or movement that is not suitable for you. If you have any health or mobility issues, please check with your healthcare provider before beginning a yoga practice.
Class Focus: consists of basic standing poses Warrior 2, Triangle, Side Angle, Half Moon, Goddess, Crescent Lunge and Modified Crescent Lunge, and Modified Side Planks, Splits Prep, Bridge, Restorative Child.
Class Focus: General Openings, with a focus on Back Extension, Side Body Opening and a Standing Mandala Sequence for External Rotation of the Hips.
Class Focus: Side body lengthening, lots of floor work, contains standing sequence for external rotation of hips to include Side Angle, Scandasana, Triangle, Tree, Figure Four, has option for peak posture of Big Toe, variations 1 and 2
Class Focus: Swaying motions, side to side and forward and back to soothe the subtle body and twists
Class Focus: Hamstrings and side body length. Includes peak postures of Big Toe 1st and 2nd variations, on floor and standing.

Class Focus: Strong Foundations class with a restorative centerpiece. Addresses all openings with a focus on back extension to include Puppy Pose, Seal, Bridge, and Restorative Half Virasana, followed by seated twists and a standing external hip series.
Class Focus: Energy focused class for releasing negative mental/emotional images and strengthening the body, with basic poses, lots of movement and crossover work, great for releasing tension in shoulders, featuring Eagle.
Class Description: Class has lots of movement,but stays close to earth with few standing postures; includes 2 Sun A’s, lots of energetic work with crossover patterns and infinity patterns to aid in healing.
Class Description: A class full of healing patterns of movement, with crossover work done in twist series incorporating restorative twists, sprinkled in the practice, followed by a standing twist series with the overall class taking on the healing pattern of the infinity symbol and ending with a restorative posture; includes reclined restorative twists, Revolved Side Angle, Splits Prep with a twist, Revolved Triangle, Eagle, option for Half Moon, seated forward folds, Pigeon and belly on the bolster for Savasana.
Class Description: A class full of movement that includes floorwork done in an infinity pattern, followed by external hip opening done in a standing mandala; class also has a focus on back extension and twists, with standing balance postures of Tree and Eagle with an option for Half Moon .
Class Description: A class with an infinity pattern of movement that includes Happy Baby, Reclined Apanasana, Thread the Needle, Poster Girl, reclined on the belly crossover twist, followed by standing open hip and squared hip series done between two full halves to include standing balance poses of Tree to Krishna and Warrior 3 to Figure Four, ending with wide leg seated forward fold on the floor, seated forward fold, Bridge Pose and Reclined Goddess
Class Description: Class starts reclined with angel wing breathing, then a series of Bridges to include a Restorative Bridge, followed by twists and Restorative Child; movement begins with Sun A’s attached to the attending the spine series; then a short linear sequence followed by two full rotations addressing open hips; class closes out on the floor with a seated wide leg fold sequence, and Leg Up the Wall Pose.
Class Description: A slow-paced class with lots of one-sided movement done in an infinity pattern linked to a full rotational mandala, with the focus on twists including a 5 minute restorative twist done for each side; class then moves to floorwork that embraces front side body stretching done in Restorative Bridge accompanied by crossover work and more twists; class closes with two full halves for external hip opening and hamstring lengthening; includes balancing postures of Eagle, Half Moon and Tree, and peak posture of Revolved Triangle.
Class Description: One of Melody's favorite classes! A great class for active beginners who have no restrictions. Class has lots of movement and includes an infinity loop shared in two half mandalas; includes Down Dog several times but does not work off of it; includes Sphinx, Seal and Bridge for addressing back extension; has standing and reclined twists, Apanasana and Happy Baby; two full rotations that include Modified Crescent Lunge, Splits Prep, Warrior 2, Side Angle, Scandasana and Revolved Side Angle, with balance poses of Eagle and Tree. (Teacher Level 4)
Class Description: Class starts with neck and shoulder work and moves to floorwork done on the back, then moves into restorative twists followed by Restorative Child and belly on the bolster; then movement begins with Modified Side Planks and attached to Sun A’s; class continues with two full rotations done in an open hip pattern accompanied by twists; class ends with roll backs and seated forward fold, Leg Up the Wall Pose and Savasana.
Class Description: A class with plenty of movement; opens with 2 sun salutations and moves into an infinity pattern with a focus on side body length, twists, and hamstring lengthening; then moves to focus on back extension with Seal, Camel and Bridge; peak postures include Revolved Triangle, Standing Big Toe 1st and 3rd variations, and Camel.
Class Description: We've categorized this class as both an Active Restorative Class and a Foundations Class and it's one of our favorites; contains both movement and yummy restorative sections. Class starts with seated breath work and neck and shoulder movement, followed by Restorative Child and belly on the bolster, then making our way to gentle movements of hip circles, Poster Girl, Thread the Needle, Apanasana, Happy Baby, restorative twists, and a Pigeon twist mandala that concludes with Sphinx, Seal and crossover twists. Again, one of our all-time favorites!
Class Description: Class begins with a 45 minute restorative piece with Supported Fish, Restorative child and belly on the bolster, then proceeds to movement with a yummy infinity pattern followed by a standing full rotational mandala consisting of Warrior 2, Side Angle, Triangle, Scandasana and standing balance poses of Tree and Figure Four; class returns to the floor with Happy Baby, reclined twists and Savasana.

Class Description: A class with lots of yummy movement to open, followed by a standing full rotational mandala that includes Revolved Side Angle, Splits Prep with a Twist, Revolved Triangle, Side Angle, Triangle, with standing balance poses of eagle, Big Toe 3rd variation, and Tree; class ends with about 25 minutes of restorative yoga consisting of Restorative Bridge and Restorative Twists with sandbags. (Note that you can shorten the class time by taking Savasana when the restorative section begins.)

Class Description: Class starts standing and moves to an infinity pattern to gently stretch and open the energetic lines of the body; class has a focus on lengthening the vertical line of brahma sutra and also releasing foreign and unwanted energy from this area; class then moves to stronger flow with Sun A’s, a focus on back extension with Locust, Seal and Bridge, then closes with a short twist series and ten minutes of restorative with Restorative Child and Belly on the Bolster.
